Welcome to the website of KB4GKI
KB4GKI is Jimmy Holbrook - he was first licensed in 1983 as a novice, and was able to upgrade to extra in March of 2020. He really enjoyed the digital modes of FT-4 and FT-8, and always used the QRZ log book for all of his contacts on the digital modes.
He was often found on the WB4PZA repeater (the .82 repeater) in Wilkesboro.
On September 23, 2021 Jimmy lost his battle with the COVID-19 virus and became a Silent Key. While he would have liked to have used his website for a resourse for the .82 repeater group, upon request from his estate, we are removing the .82 repeater group information.
His website and memory is kept alive with the assistance from one of his best friends, AB1JU.
